AI acceptable use policy
Last updated: 2026-10-29
This policy applies to photos you upload, drawings you ask us to generate, and your use or sharing of the results. It forms part of our Terms of Use. It applies to free visitors and signed-in or paying users alike.
Content standards and prohibited categories
Do not upload, request, generate, download for distribution or share content through this service that falls into any of these categories:
Pornography and NSFW sexual content
Pornographic or sexually explicit images, explicit nudity intended for sexual arousal, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual intimate images. Consent does not make prohibited explicit sexual content permitted.
Graphic violence and gore
Graphic injury, dismemberment, torture, extreme gore, or content that encourages violence, terrorism or harm against a person or group.
Hate and targeted harassment
Content that promotes hatred, dehumanization, discrimination or violence against people because of protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability; threats or targeted harassment are also prohibited.
Child safety and CSAM
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of anyone under 18, or content that exploits, grooms, abuses or endangers children. This prohibition includes generated or altered images, even if claimed to be fictional.
Deceptive deepfakes and impersonation
Deceptive images that impersonate a real person, misrepresent their actions or endorsement, facilitate identity fraud, or use their likeness without the necessary permission. An obvious drawing of your own or a permissioned portrait must not be used to deceive or harass.
Copyright, trademark and other rights infringement
Images or outputs that infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy or publicity rights. You must have the rights and permissions needed for the photo and its use; purchasing credits or receiving an output does not grant rights to someone else's artwork, brand or likeness.
Other prohibited use
Do not upload other unlawful material, distribute scams or fraudulent content, probe for private files, share account credentials, disrupt the service, or deliberately bypass safety checks, paid-credit charges or daily free limits through automation, multiple accounts or changing browser identifiers. A technical ability to submit a file is not permission to generate or distribute prohibited content.
How we assess and moderate content
Our application checks supported file formats, upload limits, selected styles and usage allowances. Model providers may apply their own automated safeguards and reject a request. We do not claim that these checks identify every policy violation or that every image is individually reviewed before delivery.
The site operator manually reviews abuse reports and credible safety concerns using the report, relevant account or job records, and content still available to us. We may request clarification, inspect the relevant material where necessary, and determine whether the available evidence supports a violation. We prioritize credible reports of child exploitation, imminent harm and non-consensual intimate content.
We do not publish private user uploads in a public gallery. Normal image deletion and private-link expiry follow our privacy policy; a report does not guarantee that an already expired image can be recovered. We do not promise continuous human monitoring.
Enforcement and account restrictions
Depending on the severity, evidence and repetition, we may block a generation request, issue a warning, restrict access, suspend or terminate an account, delete offending files from our storage, or disable their download links. Serious safety risks or unlawful conduct may require immediate action and cooperation with competent authorities.
Unused paid credits are not automatically confiscated or reset to zero because of a restriction. The existing refund policy and mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. Failed drawings automatically return their credits; credits used for completed drawings follow the existing refund rule.
Report abuse or request a review
Email hello@imagetodrawing.com with the subject "Content report" to report a suspected violation. Include a brief description, the page or download URL, a job or order reference if you have one, the approximate date and the reason for your report. You may also use this channel for copyright, trademark, likeness or privacy complaints. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or illegal attachments, including CSAM.
We review reports manually, may ask for supporting information, and take proportionate action when we can substantiate a violation. Where appropriate, we notify affected users or the reporter of the outcome without disclosing another person's private information. If you believe a restriction was mistaken, email the same address with the subject "Appeal" and explain why; we will review the available evidence and correct a decision if warranted.
